MCI announces service team to lead new San Francisco Bay Area
Sales and Service Center opening November 14

HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA, NOVEMBER 14, 2017: (TSX:NFI) Motor Coach Industries (MCI), the U.S. subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. ("NFI Group"), the largest transit bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts distributor in North America, MCI's state-of-the-art San Francisco Bay Area Sales and Service Center has a leadership team to match, as customers will discover on the center's grand opening November 14.

MCI welcomes: Mike Albertolle, Manager of Business Development and Service; Matthew Hiibel, Service Manager; Roland Schauer, Shop Supervisor; and Roman Bystron, Parts Supervisor.

Albertolle, who reports to Miller, will be responsible for service center's operations, sales growth and overall customer service and satisfaction. He joins MCI from an 11-year position as director of services and facilities for a prominent Bay Area motor coach operator. Before that, he was Budget Rent-A-Car System's fleet director for the Western United States and later Northern California market director. In his fleet director role, he managed some 20,000 vehicles and as market director, he managed 50 Budget locations.

Hiibel, who is a heavy-equipment mechanic by training, has held service manager positions with two trucking industry service providers. He will oversee estimates and manage work orders for fast, accurate repairs.

Schauer, who also worked for a Bay Area motor coach operator as a lead technician, technician supervisor and maintenance facility manager for the past eight years, will supervise MCI technicians and manage their ongoing training. Schauer holds an associate degree in diesel technology and certification in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engine systems as part of his extensive training, including MCI and Setra coaches. Bystron, who has worked for three Bay Area Ford dealerships as assistant parts manager for the past 20 years, will be responsible for maintaining parts inventory and delivery.

Schauer, who also worked for a Bay Area motor coach operator as a lead technician, technician supervisor and maintenance facility manager for the past eight years, will supervise MCI technicians and manage their ongoing training. Schauer holds an associate degree in diesel technology and certification in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engine systems as part of his extensive training, including MCI and Setra coaches. MCI's new location in Hayward, California, like its six predecessor Sales and Service Centers in North America, specializes in expert repair and maintenance of all makes and models of intercity coaches and transit buses, including collision repairs, refurbishing, paint, and body work, retrofits with OEM wheelchair lifts and engine overhauls.

Throughout North America, MCI Service Centers employ 110 MCI and Setra factory-trained technicians at locations in Hayward and Los Alamitos, California; Des Plaines, Illinois; Orlando, Florida; Blackwood, New Jersey; Dallas, Texas and Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
