JASON ROUNSAVILLE, A PRE-OWNED COACH SALES LEADER,
JOINS MCI TO SERVE THE ROCK MOUNTAIN REGION

DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, MAY 12, 2017: (TSX:NFI) (TSX:NFI.DB.U) Motor Coach Industries ("MCI"), a subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. (the "Company"), the largest bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts supplier in North America, continues to expand its pre-owned coach sales force, adding Jason Rounsaville as Rocky Mountain Pre-Owned Coach Regional Manager.

Rounsaville was formerly a sales manager with a large Northern California motor coach charter operator's pre-owned vehicle sales operation and at A to Z Bus Sales in Sacramento, California.

At MCI, Rounsaville will be responsible for customers in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. He reports to Mitch Guralnick, vice president of MCI Pre-Owned Sales.

"With (MCI owner) New Flyer allowing us to expand our sales regions, we took the opportunity to hire Jason," said Guralnick. "He is a highly experienced sales professional on the West Coast who has his own following of operators who trust him to help with their transportation needs. He is a good match for MCI because he knows the MCI and Setra brand very well, and he's well positioned in a region where there is an opportunity for greater growth."

MCI will offer pre-owned inventory at the new MCI Sales and Service center opening this fall in the San Francisco Bay Area.

MCI's pre-owned coaches are popular and a significant contributor to MCI's sales growth. "We're strengthening our presence in key territories where we see market potential," said Guralnick. "We've been successful at pre-owned coach sales because of the quality of our inventory and the experience of our sales force. They don't just sell a bus; we work to establish solid relationships with our customers and sell them the right coach that will help make them successful."

Sales of pre-owned coaches are solid industrywide because today's operators can buy post-2007 coaches at significant savings with the latest safety and emission technology features and the promise of many years of reliable service still ahead. MCI's longtime top position in the pre-owned coach market has helped generations of operators launch new businesses and transition to new equipment as they grow.

Rounsaville got his first exposure to the motor coach industry as an entertainer. A talented musician — he's a vocalist, lyricist and plays seven instruments — Rounsaville was part of a gospel music group for 23 years that travelled cross-country in converted Eagles and other bus brands. He and his wife also founded and ran Chariot Coach, an entertainer coach-leasing business in Nashville. Originally from Mississippi, Rounsaville eventually made his way to Northern California to be closer to his wife's family and now he, his wife and four daughters reside in Lincoln, California.
