STAR SHUTTLE & CHARTER GOES BIG WITH 11 NEW MCI® J4500 COACHES TO SERVE BOOMING TEXAS

DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, JUNE 27, 2016: (TSX:NFI) (TSX:NFI.DB.U) Motor Coach Industries ("MCI"), a subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. (the "Company"), the largest bus and motor coach manufacturer in North America, announced that while everything's big in Texas, and getting bigger, Star Shuttle & Charter is more than keeping up.

The San Antonio-based charter and tour coach company, now celebrating its 25th anniversary, has added 11 new 2016 MCI J4500 coaches to meet market demands. After all, a May U.S. Census Bureau report pointed out that Texas has five of the 11 fastest-growing cities in the U.S., with San Antonio and Austin following Houston in adding the most people to Texas last year.

"Growth is happening fast and furious, and we're doing the same. We're serving a growing metropolis that's demanding first-rate, later models, and more extensive charter operations to serve corporate events and tourists enjoying the history and beauty of our hometown," said Austin Walker, General Manager, and second generation family member to the founders. "That's why we're offering our region the best coach on the market with personalized service to match."

The MCI J4500 is the industry's best seller. Beyond its stellar style, the model offers operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction with plush seating, a state-of-the-art entertainment system, Wi-Fi access and power outlets at every seat.

The latest MCI delivery brings nearly half of Star Shuttle's 38-J4500 fleet to less than three years old. The company also operates as the Gray Line sightseeing affiliate for Austin and San Antonio, where tourism is on the upswing as well. Known for its destinations like the Alamo, the festive River Walk area and the Missions, San Antonio is a popular vacation destination with 30 million people visiting the city each year.

Travelers have even more reasons to ride with Star Shuttle. The company launched a new marketing campaign along with a new sightseeing tour to the Texas Hill Country and a day tour of Austin. "A lot of effort has gone into promoting our tours, which are creative and catching on fast," said Martha Wires, executive administrative assistant. "It's great to be part of a company that offers exciting adventures for people coming here to visit." The company's Texas Hill Country wine tour and LBJ's boyhood home scores high on Trip Advisor.

According to Walker, Star Shuttle's work in corporate charters, colleges, athletic teams and the military are also on the rise. Besides coaches, Start Shuttle's fleet also includes mini-buses, and vans to handle groups of any size. "We're experts in business and leisure travel, and offer a staff dedicated to quality customer service," said Walker. "Our drivers wear uniforms, are well trained, and make sure that passengers have a pleasant experience. We know of their success and ours by customer testimonials. We're honored to mark 25 years serving Texas, and the new coaches are our way of thanking our customers and giving them more reasons to travel with us."
